Worldwide Shipping

Lord Wholesale Co supplies retail and trade customers throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.

Whether you are ordering from Ireland, France, Spain, Germany or further afield, our team can help arrange a suitable international delivery service for your order.

As international delivery costs vary depending on the destination, size and weight of the consignment, we do not publish fixed international shipping prices online. Please contact us for a delivery quotation.

European & International Deliveries

We can arrange delivery to many destinations throughout Europe and worldwide using established courier and freight services.

The cost and estimated delivery time will depend on factors including:

  • Destination country
  • Number of cartons
  • Weight and dimensions of the consignment
  • Type of delivery service required
  • Customs and documentation requirements

Please contact our team on 01706 345366 for an international delivery quotation or further information before placing your order.

International delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs clearance, local authorities, carriers or circumstances outside our control.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Orders sent from Great Britain to destinations outside the UK, including countries within the European Union, may be subject to customs procedures in the destination country.

Depending on the destination and the agreed shipping arrangements, the customer may be responsible for import VAT, customs duties, clearance fees, brokerage charges and any other local taxes or charges imposed when the goods enter their country.

These charges are not included in our standard product prices or delivery charges unless we specifically confirm otherwise in writing.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the goods they order can legally be imported into their destination country and to provide any information or documentation required for customs clearance.

The receiving business may also need to comply with local import declaration, licensing, certification or other customs requirements.

For further official guidance, please visit GOV.UK – Export goods from the UK .

EORI & Business Information

For international trade orders, we may require additional information from you before we can despatch your goods.

This may include your:

  • Full business name and delivery address
  • Contact name, telephone number and email address
  • VAT or tax registration number, where applicable
  • EORI number, where applicable
  • Any additional information required by the courier, freight company or customs authorities

An EORI number may be required when goods are moved between Great Britain and other countries, including countries within the European Union.

For further information about EORI numbers, please visit GOV.UK – Get an EORI number .

Please ensure all information supplied to us is complete and accurate. Incorrect or incomplete customs information may result in delays, additional charges or the goods being held by customs authorities.

VAT on Export Orders

Qualifying goods exported from Great Britain may be supplied at the UK VAT zero rate, subject to HMRC rules and Lord Wholesale Co obtaining satisfactory evidence that the goods have left the UK.

Zero-rating is not based simply on the customer's billing address, nationality or VAT registration. The goods must qualify as an export and the relevant HMRC conditions must be met.

Where Lord Wholesale Co or our appointed carrier arranges the export, the appropriate VAT treatment will be applied where the necessary conditions are satisfied.

HMRC requires businesses zero-rating exports to retain appropriate evidence that the goods have actually left the UK. This evidence may be official or commercial, depending on how the goods are exported.

If satisfactory evidence of export cannot be obtained, UK VAT may become payable.

For further information, please see GOV.UK – VAT on goods exported from the UK (VAT Notice 703) .

Using Your Own Courier or Freight Forwarder

If you wish to arrange collection using your own courier, freight forwarder or shipping company, please contact us before arranging collection.

Additional documentation and evidence may be required to demonstrate that the goods have been exported from the UK.

Where required, we may ask you to provide information such as:

  • Details of the courier, freight forwarder or carrier
  • Overseas delivery address
  • Transport or consignment documentation
  • Evidence of export
  • Relevant customs documentation
  • Other information reasonably required by Lord Wholesale Co for our VAT and export records

We cannot guarantee VAT zero-rating where the necessary HMRC conditions and evidence of export have not been satisfied.

HMRC guidance on acceptable evidence of export can be found at GOV.UK – Evidence of export .

Customs Documentation

International shipments may require a commercial invoice, customs declaration and other supporting documentation.

Where Lord Wholesale Co arranges the shipment, we will prepare or provide the relevant information required from us for the export.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information requested in connection with their order and for complying with any import requirements applicable in the destination country.

Depending on the destination and goods being supplied, additional licences, certificates or proof of origin may also be required.

You can find further official information at GOV.UK – Export goods from the UK .

Customs Declarations

Goods exported from Great Britain may require an export customs declaration. This may be completed by Lord Wholesale Co, our courier or freight provider, or another appointed customs representative depending on the shipping arrangements.

Further information about export declarations is available from GOV.UK – Making a full export declaration .

Delivery Delays & Customs Clearance

We always aim to despatch international orders promptly; however, overseas delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Lord Wholesale Co cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, border controls, local authorities, adverse weather, transport disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If customs authorities, the courier or freight company require further information from the customer, it is important that this is supplied promptly to avoid unnecessary delays or additional charges.

International Returns

International customers should contact us before returning any goods.

Unless goods are confirmed as faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied by Lord Wholesale Co, the cost of returning goods from outside the UK is the responsibility of the customer.

For non-faulty or unwanted goods, original delivery charges, return carriage charges, customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges and other international shipping costs are not refundable.

Where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied by Lord Wholesale Co, please contact us so that we can advise you on the appropriate procedure.

Please see our Returns Policy for full information regarding returns, faulty goods and refunds.

Need an International Shipping Quote?

Because every international order is different, we believe it is fairer to calculate shipping based on the actual destination, weight and dimensions of the consignment rather than publish fixed international delivery rates.
